Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care focused on infectious diseases to adult patients.
- Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and novel treatments to support patient recovery.
- Continuously monitor patients' conditions and progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
- Diagnose and manage a spectrum of health problems, from common to complex.
- Develop and maintain updated clinical guidelines for HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, nPEP, and emerging infectious diseases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship.
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Texas.
- Possession of a current DEA License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Infectious Disease specialty.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
